Hi, I’m Sally.

I’m a marketer, a mom of two, and a greeting card shop owner who’s been selling on Etsy for six years. I’m currently on mat leave, which sounds like a break but is really just a different kind of busy.

I started writing online back in 2015 with a blog I built while I was still in school studying marketing. That turned into freelance content writing, which turned into years of putting other people’s ideas into words. Writing has always been my thing.

So why a newsletter?

Because I kept running into the same problem: I had more to say than a reel could hold. Instagram is where I show up, but it’s not where I can go deep. I wanted a place to write about the stuff I’m actually thinking about without trimming it to fit a caption.

The Beautiful, Messy In-Between is about building a creative life when your life doesn’t pause to let you figure it out. I write about:

• Career pivots and figuring out what’s next

• Making money outside of a 9-5 (the honest version)

• Marketing advice I’d actually give a friend

• Motherhood and ambition existing at the same time

• The personal, unpolished stuff in between

Who is this for?

Women who are building something. Who don’t have a five year plan but have a notes app full of ideas and enough energy to start. Who want to make money, make things, and figure it out without pretending they have it all together.
